Art encourages children to explore their emotions, expand their imaginations and helps them to develop their own unique voice. Pallotti Hill Public School conducted its Art Festival, Cynosure, on 22nd and 24th September, 2022 in the School. The program began on 22nd, after the morning assembly with the lighting of the lamp. The Chief Guest of the day was Rev. Fr. James Puthenparambil, SDB, Administrator, Don Bosco College, Mampetta. Principal delivered a warm welcome to the Chief Guest and others. The Chief Guest, in his inaugural speech on various aspects of art & culture left the audience enlightened. Manager, Rev. Fr. Antony Kaithapparambil and Principal, Rev. Fr. Byju Antony Puthanpurackal congratulated all the winners and the participants. Art , in all its forms and glory was then presented by students. This included Bharata Natyam, Folk dance, Margam kali, Mime, Oppana, Group dance, Mono Act, Mimicri, Extempore, Elocutions, etc. All in all the Art Festival was a grand success underlining the importance of co curricular activities. The program ended with a vote of thanks proposed by Asha Ma’am and a solo song by students’ representative followed by National Anthem.
