The Eco Club of Pallotti Hill Public School organized a farm visit for the members of the Eco Club on 8th March 2023. They visited Das Farm School, Vengeri, Kozhikode which is specialized in growing organic vegetables. The visit to the Farm was an eye opening experience to the students which gave them an opportunity to know about the environmental friendly farming practices, natural pest control methods, drip irrigation system, organic fertilizers to enrich the soil and promote plant growth. The Farm was filled with various plants like spinach, cucumber, bitter guard, ladies finger, pumpkin, drumstick , chilly etc. The owner of the Farm School, Mr.Sham Sudheer Das explained to them about the way of cultivation. Followed by the Farm visit, The children were escorted to the Planetarium by the Eco Club in- charge teachers and Rahul Sir.
