The Cynosure Arts Day 2023 held on August 17th and 18th at Pallotti Hill Public School was a splendid showcase of the students’ diverse talents and creativity. Day 1 – August 17th: Non-Stage Items: The inaugural day of Cynosure Arts Day began with a burst of creativity, as students participated in various non-stage items. The event was kicked off with English elocution. Following this, the audience was treated to soulful recitations that beautifully captured the essence of language and expression. The highlight of the day was the extempore competition, where students showcased their spontaneous speaking skills on a range of topics. Then the captivating light music performances that set the tone for the artistic extravaganza. Day 2 – August 18th: Stage Items and Inauguration: The second day commenced with a grand inauguration ceremony, symbolized by the lighting of the lamp. Principal Fr. Vipin Augusty inspired the students, setting the stage for a day filled with artistic brilliance. Vice Principal Seby Ma’am, Manager Fr. Sijo Anju Kandathil, Arts Day Incharges Bisini Ma’am and Saji Sir, and Supervisor Asha Ma’am were the guiding lights behind the event’s success. Stage Items: The stage items on August 18th were a visual spectacle that left the audience awestruck. Group song performances captivated the listeners with their eloquence and harmony. The traditional art form of Bharatha Natyam enthralled everyone with its grace and precision. Various categories of folk dances celebrated the cultural diversity of the nation, showcasing the students’ dedication to preserving heritage. The house wise group dance competition was a vibrant display of unity and spirited competition, while the mime performances conveyed powerful messages through silent expressions. Appreciation and Gratitude: The collective effort of both students and teachers was evident throughout the event. House in-charge teachers worked tirelessly to ensure seamless coordination and enthusiastic participation. Bisini Ma’am proposed a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all those who made the event a success. Fr.
