The fragrance of flowers,The elegance of Kuruthola, ‘Onaponnunjaal’ spread the essence of Onam Festivities in the Pallotti Hill Public School campus. Onaponnunjaal was all set to welcome our dear children for the much awaitedOnam celebrations. It is indeed an educational recreational and delightful way to remind ourselves of the rich cultural heritage of Kerala and the essence of this vibrant harvest festival.This festive mode is not only about fun and entertainment but also about fostering a sense of unity in diversity, and appreciation of our traditions among the younger generation. Onaponnunjaal started with a rich essence of rythm.The Chendamelam along with Pulikali accompanied the Chief guest Rev.Fr Fredinand Franco, Manager Rev.Fr.Sijo Anchukandathil and the Principal Rev.Fr. Vipin Augusty, from the school entrance.The students with their traditional malayali attaire spread colours of oneness amongst children.Chief guest Rev.Fr. Fredinand Franco inaugurated “Onaponnunjaal” by lighting the lamp.The rythm of Shingarimelam triggered the Pallotines with the rythm of dance beatsThe gracious Mega Thiruvathira headed by Ms.Jisha, Ms.Agnes stole the hearts of spectators. House-wise Pookalam competitions,Tug – of- war for children and drivers heated up the session with a sense of competition.Pallotti Hill Public School was all set to serve ONAM SADHYA by 12:00 noon for children from Play class to Grade 10.The children enjoyed the feast.A suprise Flashmob was organised by Grade 9 children which imbibed rythm amongst all.The much awaited DJ was the cherry on top which children enjoyed the most.The event ended up with The Prize distribution.
