Pallotti Hill Public School hosted highly anticipated 22nd Malabar Sahodaya Sports Meet on 5 & 6 of December 2023 at Pallotti Hill Public School Ground. The event witnessed an impressive turnout with 35 schools competing fiercely in various athletic disciplines, fostering a spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie.
The day commenced with an exhilarating opening ceremony that captivated the audience with vibrant displays and energetic performances, setting the tone for an action-packed day ahead. Carolina Mathew was the Guest of Honour for the Athletic Meet. The esteemed dignitaries included, The president of Sahodaya – Mr. Moni Yohannan, Secretary of SAHODAYA Mr. Yesudas , Rev. Fr. Sijo Anchukandathil ( Manager of Pallotti Hill Public School ), Vipin Thadathil ( Principal of Pallotti Hill Public School) , Joshy Sebastian ( P.T.A president) , Mrs. Seby Sebastian ( Vice Principal of Pallotti Hill Public School).The opening ceremony included Welcome address by Rev. Of the Dais bending their flags. The Cauldron was lit by the Individual champions of Pallotti Hill Public School, And the Athletic Meet was declared as open.The Ceremony became more vibrant with a captivating cheer dance by Pallotines. Words of gratitude was proposed by Mr.Yesudas, Secretary of SAHODAYA.
Highlights:
Track and Field Events: The track events( 50 M,100M, 200m,600m,800m,1500m,4100m relays,4400m relay long-distance races, showcased exceptional speed, endurance, and agility among the participants. Athletes displayed remarkable prowess and determination, pushing their limits in each race.
Field Events: The field events, such as long jump, high jump, shot put, and javelin throw, witnessed outstanding performances, with athletes demonstrating precision, strength, and technique in their respective disciplines.
Notable Performances:
Devagiri CMI Public School demonstrated exceptional skills and determination, securing victories and setting new records in their respective events.
All the athletes showcased exemplary sportsmanship and teamwork, contributing significantly to the competitive spirit of the event.
Closing Ceremony and Awards:

,Welcome address was delivered by the Vice Principal of Pallotti Hill Public School Mrs.Seby Sebastian, The Sahodaya flag was lowered by Mathachan sir ( physical trainer of Pallotti Hill Public School) and the individual champions accompanied to fold the flag and handed over the flag to The president of Sahodaya Mr. Moni Yohannan. acknowledging the dedication and hard work of all participants. Distinguished individuals and teams were honored with trophies, medals, and certificates to commemorate their outstanding performances and contributions to the sports meet.
