Pallotti Hill Public School commenced its Independence Day celebrations promptly at 8:30 AM with a spirited assembly. The event was opened with a warm welcome speech by Alphonsa Biju, the Head Girl.The flag hoisting ceremony, a significant moment of the day, was conducted by the Principal, Reverend Father Vipin Augusty, and was accompanied by the school band, adding grandeur to the occasion.The school’s choir team performed both patriotic and national songs, fostering a strong sense of national pride among the attendees. Following this, the Assistant Head Boy, Adwaith Krishna, led the pledge, and Diya Maria, the Assistant Head Girl, delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks for the celebrations.The assembly also featured the distribution of prizes for the Under-17 Badminton Championship, recognising the achievements of the young athletes.The event concluded with the national anthem and the distribution of sweets, wrapping up the day’s celebrations on a sweet note.
