Teachers’ Day is a day to pay respect to the teachers and thank them for the efforts and hard work they put in every day , all around the year , to nurture the students . On this day students around the country pay their respects and express their gratitude and love towards the teachers. Pallotti Hill Public School eyed a magnificent Teachers’ day celebration under the guidance of Mrs.Sumita Mejosh . Grade 10 children organised a spectacular event on this day . Many cultural events are also arranged by the students to entertain and give their teachers a day to remember . Teachers’ day was a delightful occasion that strengthened the bond between teachers and students. After the lunch break the Teachers’ day program was scheduled to start. The function took place in the auditorium of the school. Along with the teachers, the principal, the vice Principal and the supervisors were also present at the function. The program started with a prayer song by the students of grade 10 . Soon after that, Hannah Deepa Shaji of class 10 welcomed everyone to the wonderful program. Lighting a lamp before a ceremony spreads divine grace , so all the dignitaries joined for the ceremony . After that , Fr. Vipin Augusty Thadathil , the principal of Pallotti Hill Public School addressed the gathering and appreciated all the teachers for their hard work and dedication and for their role in helping the school achieve new heights . Then there was a cake cutting ceremony which symbolises sharing happiness and good fortune . Then Vyga , a student of grade 10 delivered a speech on the importance of Teachers’ day. Vote of appreciation was proposed by Mrs Anita Lakshmi . After the official function , a set of games were arranged for the teachers . All the teachers and students actively participated in the events. The colourful program came to an end at 3:45 p.m. with the National Anthem.
