Pallotti Hill Public School recently celebrated Flowers Day and Fruits Day with great enthusiasm, fostering a sense of nature appreciation and collaboration among the students. The celebration was divided into two main parts, focusing on different aspects of nature for different grade levels.Flowers Day Celebration the students of Grades 1 and 2 participated in the Flowers Day celebration. Each child brought different types of flowers—both original flowers and creative drawings. They shared details about the flowers they brought, showcasing the variety of blossoms and discussing their unique characteristics. Adding to the joyful atmosphere, some students sang songs about flowers, which filled the day with cheerfulness and excitement.Reverend Father Vipin Augusty also addressed the children, highlighting the importance of flowers in our daily lives and the beauty they add to nature. The class teachers and the Primary Section Supervisor, Ms. Anitha Lakshmi, were present, supporting and encouraging the students throughout the event. Fruits Day Celebration the students of Grades 3, 4, and 5 participated in the Fruits Day celebration. Each child brought different types of fruits and juices. The students spread their blankets and gathered to share and enjoy the fruits together. They discussed the fruits they brought and learned about their nutritional value and benefits. This activity helped to foster a sense of sharing and the importance of healthy eating habits.After the fruit sharing, the students, led by their class teachers, went on a nature walk. The walk provided them with an opportunity to explore their surroundings and observe nature closely, further reinforcing the importance of plants, flowers, and fruits in their lives. The day ended with laughter and fun, leaving the children with valuable lessons about nature and health.The event was a delightful combination of learning and enjoyment, enabling the students to appreciate nature’s beauty and the significance of flowers and fruits in their daily lives.
