‘ Bharat Ka Amrut Mahotsav’—– In connection with the celebration of 75th year of Indian Independence, Govt. of India has planned to organize 75 week long’ Bhatat Ka Amrut Mahotsav’. Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate change, Kerala Council for Science, Technology and Environment, Darsanam Cultural organization etc have joined to make the program a grand success. NGC Kerala assigned to organise first weekly program from 16/04/21 to 22/04/21. CWRDM and Malabar Botanical garden took initiative to conduct it in well organized manner. Students of our schoolwho are in Sanjeevani Eco Club participated in various programs. Provide drinking water for birds and animals, preparation of eco friendly items, construct flower garden/ vegetable garden, awareness class on the demerits of burning plastics, how to reuse the waste, plastic etc were a few activities in which the students actively participated. A quiz competition was also conducted on 7th day, based on the theme Earth Day. We were so proud that one of our teachers an co-ordinator of eco club Mrs. Margrette. M. Anto presented a live demonstration on best out of waste. The YouTube link of the same was also shared. She encouraged the students tremendously to participate in weekly program.
