Onam is the official festival of Kerala state and includes a spectrum of cultural events. Our school celebrated this year’s onam festival with great pomp. Respected manager, Principal, former vice principal, PTA president and one of the Malayalam teachers conveyed Onam wishes to everyone from the bottom of their heart. The event became special with the message of Ms. Kanchanamala, Director of B. P. Moideen Sevamandir and Mr. Linto Joseph, MLA of Thiruvambady. As it was virtual celebration, teachers and students put their effort to take everybody to nostalgic memories. They played and shared photos/ videos of games like thumbi thullal, thala panth kali, vallam kali etc. Each and everyone made flower carpets infront of their home and traditional dance forms were also performed. Our smart and energetic students explained the significance of each element in connection with onam.
